DFRI accepts bitcoins, both for member fees and donations. Received bitcoins are primarily used for payment of goods and services, when that’s possible. When we have more bitcoins than we normally use in a year, we sell them for Swedish kronas.

A common misunderstanding is that bitcoin payments are anonymous. That’s not true. Since all bitcoin transactions are public, it’s not impossible that a bitcoin address can be linked to person. This is usually not a problem but worth noticing.
